Katie Lowes

Katie Lowes who became famous as the star of ABC's "Scandal," began her profession with an unassuming love for the stage. Born and brought up in Queens, New York, Lowes was a bubbly teenager who loved to perform and sing for loved ones and relatives. Although, unlike the majority of children, Lowes' love of acting didn't go to her side when she was growing older. Lowes became even more determined and devoted to her craft by enrolling at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She would show her abilities in the role in "Four Saints of Mexico" the Tisch production. Then, she'd be able to graduate and enter the field of. Lowes was a standout in several roles such as the role she played on the "Rescue me pilot" (FX, 2004-2011). For the vast majority of her career Lowes played the role of a nanny that looked after the son actress Connie Britton. Lowes was able to land the role as Quinn Perkins in Shonda Rhimes political drama "Scandal", (ABC, 2012to). The actress immediately felt a connection to the character since her name as a middle child, Quinn, is also identical to her name. Lowes would become a household-name as well as a face on "Scandal" (ABC 2012). The actress had a relationship with Adam Shapiro on the show which she later wed.
