Hayley is an American actor and singer. People are familiar with her because of her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' While she is a performer but her main passion is music. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. Her first time playing it when she was nine years old. The first time she began to study the field of music professionally at twelve. After experimenting with writing songs, she recorded her first album of songs at age fourteen. Since then, there's no looking back. Orrantia is an American native and has Hispanic origins. While she grew up with solely English and never lived in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic roots. To keep her heritage alive she's enrolled in Spanish. She also creates songs using the language. "Hasta Verte" which is a song with Spanish lyrics that she's recorded can be a perfect example. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected from YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. Although she originally auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" She, along with three other female singers, were placed into groups for the remaining part in the selection process. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth week of live performances.
