Hayley Orrantia, an American actress, singer and songwriter. Many people know her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series "The Goldbergs.' She is, however, musician. Music, according her, is the very first thing she enjoys. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough to warrant professional training. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her album of songs at age 14. From that point on, there's been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the USA. To keep the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs using the language. She recorded an Spanish version of a track entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. Although she originally auditioned as a solo artist, during "Hollywood Week" She, along with three other female singers, were placed into a group for the rest of the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live shows.
