Lisa Olivia Munn is a native of Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese ancestry, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots within the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents separated. Her family consisted of her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was also a United States Air Force member. They left Oklahoma, and lived in different locations, however she lived the majority of her time in Tokyo. In Japan, she was an actor in local shows and eventually turned into an Japanese fashion model. When the family eventually returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. After playing a couple of performances in her professional career, she took another promising step after she secured the part as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006) and also the role as Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan (2007). She is the host of "The Daily Nut" as well as the "Formula D" podcasts on G4. She is a huge fan of surfing and has been practicing it ever since the television program Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. Her mother remarried when she was only two years old to an Air Force official. The family has moved many times but she was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan because that is the place where her father worked. She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
