April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and performer. She is most famous for her role as Kandi as well as Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans as well as Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actor best known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the American comedy drama Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. The career path she chose began when she was modeling and later she switched to films and television series. Her first small-screen appearance was as an extra on the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation then single-episode roles in other series. In the near future, she was cast in the part of Kandi on Two and a Half Men. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby an immense amount of attention all over the world. In the American Web Series Titans the actress played a recurring character named Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She will play the role in the upcoming spinoff Doom Patrol. Bowlby was also featured in TV film Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. She made her big-screen debut in the feature film All Roads Lead Home and afterwards appeared in several other films like The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Bowlby, who was raised in Manteca (California) was a student at East Union High School. Her acting career began after she graduated from her ballet classes and French. She was a drama student at Ivanachubbuck, and was offered the role in an important TV show (Kandi) in just three months of an audition in Hollywood audition. Bowlby played a part as a guest on a number of TV series, such as CSI: NY featuring Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. In addition, she starred as Meg as part of How I Met Your Mother. More recently Bowlby played the part as Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl who lost her mother in a car accident. Bowlby is set to play Mia as she appears in The Slammin Salmon (2008). The actress lives in Los Angeles. She has naturally red hair and blue eyes. The couple isn't married and she has no kids.
