Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. Her stage work began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the same year, she made her debut album of music It's the Time for Tina. Louise made her debut as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the film. In the years prior to this she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to her glamour-doll image had been portrayed as. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she also has made her name as a successful director in various well-known television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained there ever since.
