Born on October 18, 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her name is a second place in the world for super scores amongst female or male skiers. She is among the top and most adored skiers in history. Caroline Vonn who is also known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as the World Cup's skier for the US Ski Team. She has four overall World Cup victories. She is among the most famous athletes in American the history of sports. She is one of just six women to has won in each of the five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. Overall, she's been awarded an impressive 82 World Cup championships. After the World Championships in Sweden this year, one of the top and most experienced ski racers from America will retire. The four-time World Cup overall champion decided to retire after suffering several illnesses. Social media was the method used to announce her retirement.
